Woman charged with child abuse Newborn Tests Positive For Drugs: Mom Charged

A mother has been charged with child abuse after giving birth to a baby that tested positive for drugs. Mobile Police Department spokesman John Young says MPD was notified after Sandra Reynolds gave birth to a boy. Young says The Alabama Department of Human Resources says the 39-year-old mother has been arrested and charged with Willful Abuse Of A Child.

There are programs that teach people about birth control-the problem is they have to be responsible enough to use it. Maybe mandatory sterilization would be best.

I am so glad that they charged this woman with abuse. If the drug is crack cocaine this poor baby will suffer for a long time! She should do some jail time and also she needs to be taught birth control at the age of 39!!
