Mobile police have released surveillance video of an attack on a woman at Wal-Mart.

The woman was shopping April 26th at the Wal-Mart on Rangeline Road in Tillmans Corner. Police say a man, wearing a grey, sleeveless t-shirt, walked up behind her and sprayed her with some sort of chemical.

She was burned on her back and legs.

Police hope someone will recognize the man in the video. The attacker is a white male, in his 40's, with short greying hair. He also has a tattoo on his upper left arm. If you know who he is, please call Mobile police at 251.208.7211 or Crimestoppers at 251.208.7000.

UNNNNNNNNNREAL!  This guy had an agenda.  This does not look like a random attack.

Sure do wish the chain stores would change the disc in their surveillance videos occasionally.

I wonder what the woman had to say about all of this.  Did she tell the guy to buzz off or something?  In the fuzzy video it didn’t look like she ever even noticed the guy, but they do get out of camera range a couple of times.

You bet! I’ve got better cameras from Harbor freight for $29,95 and $39,95. The delayed release of this information is also troublesome to me. The blurred image looks like someone deliberately didn’t want the face or tattoo shown too clearly.

Are you saying Wal Mart should shop at Best Buy? lol

carl I agree with you == You would think a big chain store would have better cameras.  I clear picture might actually help catch the guy.

Strange! If I had to guess, I would say he recently was released from some sort of confindment, civilian or military and he had a specific target or reason in mind. You would really need a good look at that tattoo too,to get a better idea. These stores must buy all their cameras at the same garage sale! I’ve gotten better cameras from discount stores. Looks like a 300 pixel image doesn’t it.

Ok i just saw it ... hmm… This happened April 26th?? Why did it take so long to make news?

In the video it looks like the guy is just standing around checking something out.  He then starts to follow a woman around and she seems completely oblivious to the guy.  She also looks like she was wearing a pair of jeans, so that chemical must have been some stout stuff.

I can’t imagine why a guy would want to harm a complete stranger just for the helluvit.
