Mobile Police arrest two armed men they say robbed the Winn Dixie on Schillinger Road.
According to police, three Winn Dixie employees closed the store around 12:15 a.m. and were leaving for the night when two black males armed with handguns forced them back into the store. One of the gunmen took money from the safe while the other one robbed the employees.
A passing motorist saw the suspects take off, called 911 and then followed the suspects until police arrived.
Police arrested David Black and Brent Merrity and charged them with robbery. Officers also recovered the victims' property and the suspects' masks and handguns.
