Police in Coweta County, Georgia say two teenagers stole a Ford Explorer from a used car dealership and led them on a high speed chase.A salesman was taking the two teens on a test drive when police say they pulled a gun on him. The teens let the salesman go just before the chase began.
During the chase, the 19-year-old passenger called 911 claiming he was being held hostage.
The chase ended when the SUV fishtailed, hit a concrete barrier and rolled over. The 16-year-old driver was ejected nearly 50 feet and suffered a broken pelvis and foot. The 19-year-old who was riding in the back seat suffered a concussion.
Both teens are being charged as adults.
