A contractor working for the City of Mobile broke a 12-inch water main at Florida and Emogene Streets around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The break forced Mobile Area Water & Sewer System to shut off water to customers on Florida, between Dauphin Street and Mt. Island Drive.
MAWSS crews are working with the contractor to repair the break and restore service as quickly as possible. Customers in this area are asked to refrain from using their water until the break is repaired.

I am sure this will help those business alot.  I know TP Crockmires will love not being able to be open for lunch.  Wish Sam Jones would pay as much attention to business already in Mobile as he does to annexation.  He is running these businesses into the ground and not doing anything to help them.
