A Missouri woman says she figured her idea would fetch $100. Sports card collector and dog lover Rochelle Steffen gave 22Michael Vick trading cards to her two dogs to chew on. She then put the chewed cards up for auction on eBay.
By mid-morning today, as Vick entered his guilty plea to dogfighting charges, the bidding had reached $6,400. eBay initially yanked the sale, because the woman's ad said the proceeds would be donated to the humane society of the bidder's choice -- a violation of the site's rule on charity auction. But
Steffen reposted it, saying she would do "very good" things with the money.
Bidding closes Friday morning.
