Mobile Police say a stalled vehicle led to the arrest of two teen robbery suspects.Around 10:00 o'clock last night, officers noticed a stalled car in the 1800 block of Lucky Street and stopped to help. But after running a tag check, they discovered the vehicle had been stolen earlier in the day.
16 rear old Christopher Scott and a 15 year old were taken into custody.
Officers say they found a handgun, cellphone and other items inside the car.
It turns out the cellphone had been taken in a robbery earlier in the evening.
According to investigators, the two suspects were responsible for two separate robberies Thursday night.
One robbery on Church Street arund 8:40pm and the other at 9:50pm on Michigan Avenue.
Scott remains in Mobile Metro Jail while the 15 year old was booked into the Strickland Youth Center.
