DALLAS (AP) - Police in Dallas say at least three people were
killed when an 18-wheeler plunged off a freeway ramp and landed on
a car below.
Details are sketchy about the mid-afternoon accident near
downtown Dallas. But investigators believe the truck fell off the
ramp after striking another vehicle on Interstate 35.
A mangled truck could be seen underneath the I-35 overpass.
Pieces of the truck and lead piping were scattered nearby.
Hazardous material crews are working to clean the roadway.
