"It's a constant thing," said Pat Waites who is responsible for making sure none of the tainted toys get under their clients' Christmas trees. "We have found some of the recalled toys and we are putting them aside," she said.
Christina Watts, who also works for the non-profit agency, says the national headquarters is keeping local offices on their toes. "They have been sending messages about the toys on the recall list for two months," said Watts. "Everytime a new recall came out we'd get another list," she said.
More than 3400 Mobile children and 200 from Baldwin County are on The Salvation Army's angel tree. To adopt an angel contact The Salvation Army.
