STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) - Three Mississippi State players have
signed contracts to play professional baseball next season.
Juniors Tyler Moore and Jeff Flagg will skip their senior
seasons.

Moore signed with Washington on Thursday after being taken
in the 16th round of the Major League Baseball draft. He will start
his pro career with the Vermont Lake Monsters of the New York-Penn
League.

Flagg has reported to the New York Mets' spring training center
in Port St. Lucie, Fla., after being taken in the 27th round of
last week's draft.

Senior Jesse Carver signed a free agent contract with the Kansas City Royals and has reported to the team's Pioneer League club in Idaho Falls.
