The Mobile Police Department says 83-thousand Mardi Gras revellers took to the streets of Downtown Mobile for tonight's (Saturday) "Mystics of Time" Parade. On the last weekend of Mardi Gras festivities for Mobile, folks from all over came out for some Mardi Gras Madness. This year's theme for the parade was "A Time for Tales of Dragons" as 12 dragon inspired floats rolled out. Jim Elrod and his family came from Little Rock, Arkansas. Elrod says it's their first Mardi Gras in Mobile. "This is family oriented , you can bring your kids you know or your grandkids, everybody will have a good time, "Said Elrod. Lisa Harrelson from Lee, Florida says she's impressed with the festivities and plans on making it a tradition for her family.
