Prichard police are looking for man they say shot a 17-year-old at the Woodland Apartments on Wolf Ridge Road.

The victim told police that a man with a gun was running through the complex around 1:00 p.m. He doesn't know if the man was shooting at him, but he was hit once in the abdomen. After pulling the trigger, the gunman took off.

An ambulance rushed the teenager to USA Medical Center with a non-life threatening injury.

Detectives canvassed the area. They're trying to identify the shooter and figure out why he shot the teenager.
