Dominick Harris, 18, posted a $500 bond Tuesday night after he was arrested on a reckless endangerment charge. Police say the teen was involved in a drive-by shooting on Glenn Avenue.
The arrest came less than 48 hours before Harris was due back in court to be sentenced for the May 2007 teacher attack.
Harris is the former Murphy student who used his cell phone to record a classmate punching a teacher in the face. The teenager struck a deal with prosecutors to be charged as a juvenile and likely avoid jail time.
The deal was supposed to be finalized Thursday, but Mobile District Attorney John Tyson says his latest arrest may be a deal breaker.
Tyson tells News Five, prosecutors will ask the judge to revoke Harris' bond and delay Thursday's hearing.
Mobile police have not identified the gunman involved in Tuesdays shooting.
Meanwhile, the student who threw the punch in the teacher attack pleaded guilty Wednesday. Randolph Parker, 17, was sentenced to three years in prison and five years of probation.
