ORANJESTAD, Aruba (AP) - Authorities flew a Dutch man back tothe Caribbean after he was re-arrested in the Netherlands as a
suspect in the disappearance of American teen Natalee Holloway.
Joran van der Sloot arrived by plane in Aruba late last night.
Authorities took him in a car with tinted windows straight from the
runway to a jail in the Dutch Caribbean island.
A prosecutor says van der Sloot will appear before a judge
Monday in a closed hearing. Authorities are seeking to hold him for
at least eight more days while pursuing the case against him and
two other suspects, brothers Satish and Deepak Kalpoe.
Prosecutors also said today that they believe Holloway is dead.
Holloway's father now lives in Meridian, Mississippi. The
teenager has other family members living in the Jonesboro area, a
grandmother in Pine Bluff and an aunt in El Dorado.
