A new survey finds that about 70 percent of
Americans with a religious affiliation, and more than half of
evangelicals, believe that many religions can lead to eternal life
and that there's more than one way to interpret their faiths'
teachings.
The findings, in a survey by the Pew Forum on Religion and
Public Life, can either be taken as a sign of religious tolerance
or evidence that Americans dismiss or don't know their faiths'
teachings.
The survey also found that more than one in four Roman
Catholics, mainline Protestants and Orthodox Christians expressed
doubts about God's existence, as did six in 10 Jews.
Another finding almost defies explanation: 21 percent of
self-identified atheists said they believe in God or a universal
spirit, with 8 percent "absolutely certain" of it.

How can they be atheists and still belive in God? Isn’t that defeating the purpose of calling yourself an athiest? Just a question…

God may or maynot be good. The old testiment God is an angry, jealous, wrathful God, unlike the one of the new testiment. But the whole point of this article is that people that call themselves “Christians” also believe that other religons, such as Jews, Muslims, and Buddists basically believe in the same God, but worship him differently. It also states that 25% of Catholics and Protestants and 60% of Jews interviewed for this don’t actually believe in the existance of God, and 21% of Athiests believe in God so I don’t trust the accuracy at all.

God is good all the time! He brought me out of addiction. I lost everything, and God has gave it back to me double. He’ll give you double for your trouble. Just believe in him and trust in him.
