Copper is a hot commodity these days and copper theft is a hot crime. But, one Pensacola man says he's found a way to stop copper thieves before they strike. At 35, Spencer Lowe has a new career and business is booming thanks to his invention. It's called, The A.C. Security Guard. Lowe says it keeps thieves from stealing air conditioning units, or taking the copper from inside them,"my mother was always worried about her ac unit getting stolen at her store. So, I built one to go around hers and everybody else's got stolen except for hers. So, after that, it just kind of took off from there," said Lowe. Lowe says he's even patented his technology.
