An Alabama Lawmaker accused of breaking the law will not stand trial.
Tuesday, a judge ruled there's a problem with the evidence against State Represenative James Gordon.
Gordon, who's from Saraland, was accused of not signing over the title of a car he sold. Another client accused Gordon of not giving her the paperwork she needed to get a license plate.
The case was originally delayed because Gordon was in Montgomery for the 2007 legislative session.
Tuesday the judge said there's no reason to take the case any further.
Gordon had faced up to a year in jail and a thousand dollar fine

maybe these holligans will get the message you cant just accuse a public official and expect the world to cave at your door. the accusers hide behind “Client” in the newspaper and slip baqck into their obscure lives immediatly. james gordon is left to deal with the residue. stay true dr. gordon, stay true
