A two-year old HIV positive boy kicked out of a Baldwin County park earlier this summer had his day of fun in the sun. The owner of Wales West R-V Resort in the Marlow community changed his mind and let Caleb Glover go swimming at the park's pool.

"We want to be a family-friendly park," says Wales West owner Ken Zadnichek. "We want to comply with the ACLU, but I still have some problems with the child having contact with other children in the pool."

Caleb's foster mother was glad Zadnichek let her son play in the swimming pool.

"It's a very exciting day," says Sylvia Glover. "I hope this doesn't happen again to anybody else in our situation. I just want what's best for my son, like any parent does. Caleb's excited, but he doesn't know what's going on. But one day he will understand and I don't want him to be hurt."

Dozens of AIDS activists from across the U-S were with Caleb Monday as he went swimming. Activists hope the Wales West situation will bring national attention to discrimination of HIV infected people everywhere.
