Sewage Spill

According to a report received by the Baldwin County Health Department from Baldwin County Sewer Service, a sewer spill occurred today on County Road 64 in the Belforest area. An unknown amount of sewage was discharged. The ultimate destination of the flow was into Fish River.

The health department urges residents to exercise caution if using Fish River for recreational purposes. Thoroughly cook any fish or seafood caught near by and wash hands after coming in contact with the water, fish or seafood.
