boomdock people say stupid things all the time   sometimes it takes more to walk or run away   if you have enough time to go to your car and get your gun even if you are threatened you have enough time to leave and get help   now its different if you or your family are confronted and no other choice or someone comes in your home   you bet shoot them   but this is one strange case

to all that offer their condolences me and my family thank you very much.  And there is alot about this case that is not being sai right now and we can’t say due to a gag order!!!! But yes if he had time to get his gun there should have been a cool of time and hecould have held him if h felt that threatened until the police arrved since he (the hooter) was the only one with the gun or any weapon for that matter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    My brother was the VICTIM and no matter how you cut it the other guy was and is and will foreve3r be a MURDERER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

There evidently is a lot not being said about this from both sides and just from this news report I can’t make any sense out of it or justification for the shooting or the decision by the D.A., But the D.A. usually has a lot more information on a case than we are told. It would be real interesting to see how this decision was came to though ,and where the average citizen stood when it came to self defense.

Even if they did threaten him - He went out to his car and got a gun and came back and then shot Him.  Why didn’t he get his gun call the police and hold them their at gun point until the police could arrive?  It just seems like their is a whole lot more to this story than what we know.  And it sounds and looks like he got away with Murder.

If someone threatens my life and I beleive them, guess what?  You better be a better shot than me.

We are so sorry for your loss. If we waited until we heard all details before we commented, they may as well take away this board.  We will never hear every detail.
Most of the comments were actually made because we could not understand why your family member was shot.  We thought he was the victim, not the perpetrator.

Family Member, That’s exactly what we were trying to do and understand,What were the details of this shooting?What would cause a person to go get a weapon ,which would allow a little cooling off period, and come back and kill a person ? And did it fall under a new law in Alabama? As I stated in a note posted the day after the shooting,My condolences to the family. To prevent this from happening again you must know and understand what has happened and that is what we are doing. If you have some details you would like to share with us,please do so and help me understand what caused this. You are entitled to your opinion and I would like to hear it.

yes i would like to know the details in this case .  if this man had enough time to go to his car get a gun   come back and shoot the man while sitting in his car   how can this be ruled self defense

I think that everyone should make sure that all details are known before making a comment!!!!!!    As far as de3adly force what ifit was your family member that was gunned down becasue someone did not like wht they said????????????????    Ande as far as the family understanding this choice WE   do not and neve will but as it is so liked to be said one day GOD will judge him

I think I remember a similar law to florida’s being signed in Alabama or maybe it was just being considered. It would be nice to know any way,sort of like a gun, better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
