I can not wrap my mind around this whole tragedy. What is this world coming to??? I just don’t understand how anyone could do anything like this to children. I agree about renaming the bridge, I think it is a wonderful idea.

This is such a dreadful tragedy. My heart goes out to all the family members of the sweet little angels. It is unbearable to even think about how their own father could do such a thing to them. It is nice to see our communities banding together in an effort to find these babies and give their mother some peace. 

I would like to see the city of Dauphin Island rename the bridge in the children’s honor. “Four Angels Bridge"…

Please consider this idea…

Those babies did not deserve to die. I feel they are now little angels and will be watching over their mommy and other loving family members.

Enough is enough money, time, hurt etc.  Just throw Luong off the Dauphin Island Bridge in the same manner and end his life in the same manner as he killed his 4 kids.  Why wait for an electric chair. God is now taking care of the Kids.

I attend church in Bayou La Batre.  Usually our members are very lively and upbeat, but today it was very somber.  We had a special time of prayer where all the mothers went to the altar and we prayed for that dear mother who must feel completely empty at this time.  We took up a special collection for the family and as the service progressed, you could just sense the heart-break of those in attendance. Mothers held their babies a little tighter and no one was disturbed by a crying infant, in fact, it was a joyous sound...one we should not take for granted. 
This should be a wake-up call for everyone.  There is evil in this world and as we mourn the loss of these precious children, there are thousands of children who were abused today by those they trust.  We must become accountable and no longer turn a blind eye to what is happening in society everyday.

These babies are in a good place. They are with God.
My prayers are with the family, I pray that the mother gets strenght to make it through this painfull situation. My heart goes out to her the family and the babies.

I agree with the other person, who said this was the sign of the end of time.  The love of many will wax cold in the last days the Bible speaks about. And that father had absoutely no love for those kids.  One thing we do know, is that these children will never suffer ever, ever again.  They are enjoying the beauty of Heaven and are cradled and loved by a Heavenly Father not earthly father.  Now, we have to fight our pain and sorrow and when this life is over, see them beautiful babies in Heaven.

thumpper needs to chill. The news reported that the search and rescue crew found the baby and that wasn’t true. We simply stated that we knew who found the baby.

That is not what I was maening to do!!!!!! I just want the babies to be found as well. I just do not want miss understandings. I have a 2 year old and this has really put a toll on me, as I know it has with everyone around. I am not trying to get 15 min. of fame..........I just want to make sure we are all clear on this.....

Does it really matter who found the baby as long as he or she was found?  Lets stay focused on the children and not our own 15 minutes of fame!

Yes, the second child was found by duck hunters that are related to my spouse.  The rescue crew got the remains of the body from the duck hunters because they were not able to reach anyone by phone when the child was found by the duck hunters.  The public is doing a great job, let them help.  These people know the waters better than the rescue crews.
