Search Resumes for 4 children

The search begins at daylight today for the bodies of 4 children feared dead after their father told investigators he threw them off the Dauphin Island Bridge.
Mobile County Sheriff Flotilla Captain Paul Stewart tells WKRG News 5, they will have 40 to 50 searchers out in the water off Dauphin Island today. Search and Rescue teams from all over the region are arriving to assist in the search. In addition to the Mobile County Sheriff's Flotilla, crews from Daphne, North Baldwin and South Baldwin will help in the search. The search began last night after investigators say Lam Luong confessed to throwing his children off the bridge early Monday morning. The children are 4-month-old Danny Luong; 1-year-old Lindsey Luong; 2-year-old Hannah Luong; and 3-year-old
Ryan Phan.
Bayou La Batre police and Mobile County District Attorney John Tyson told reporters last night that Luong has a criminal history for drug possession. They are asking anyone who may have seen activity on the Dauphin Island bridge on Monday to please contact them. A press conference on the search will be held at 12pm today at the Command Post on the Dauphin Island Bridge. We will have more information on this story as it becomes available.

I can’t even begin to grasp to degree of sickness required to commit an act like this to any child, let alone 4 acts. I keep picturing the terror those innocent children went through.

When they convict this murder, I hope that the stipulations are that he is granted NO appeals and goes directly to the gurney!

My heart is hanging very heavy for those children and what they went through! God Bless those babies for now they are kept from harm.

its a sad day when a father can throw his own children off the side of a bridge… and i thought my dad was cruel for not letting me talk on the phone past nine pm… these poor sweet innocent children had no reason to be tossed aside like that may God be with this family and the sorry man who did this to his own children… i pray for the safe return of the kids even if there doesn’t seem to be much hope…

LETS SEE WHAT WOULD BE A FITTING SENTENCE FOR THIS COLD, CRUEL MONSTER. UMM I KNOW, BIND HIS ARMS AND LEGS, THROW HIM OVER THE BRIDGE AFTER THE CHUM TO ATTRACT THE SHARKS. PLACE A LIFE JACKET SO HE DOESN’T DROWN QUICKLY. DOES THIS SOUND LIKE A FITTING SENTENCE.
