7:55 p.m.- “We hope that our efforts will help bring some resolution to the families and friends of these two young men,” said Sheriff Sam Cochran. “Our main concern at this point is that the Fowlers and McDuffies can now begin to find some peace.”
5:29 p.m.
- Timothy McDuffie's father, Johnny, thanked rescue crews for helping find his son's body. He said he's torn up inside because "I lost my buddy."
4:43 p.m.
- Divers have recovered the second body
2:50 p.m.
- 11:30 a.m. sonar picked up an image of the missing teenager's boat
- 12:30 pm. Divers found the 1st body within 15’ of where the boat was found
- The body was taken to the Department of Forensic Sciences in Mobile for positive i.d.
- The body & boat were at the bottom of Big Creek lake in about 25-30’ of water
- The Mobile Co. Sheriff’s Office believes the 2nd body is close to where the second body was found.

Search crews are back out on Big Creek Lake looking for the bodies of two teenagers police believe drowned.
Relatives of 17-year-old Steven Fowler called the Mobile County Sheriff's Office Monday around noon to report Fowler and his cousin, 16-year-old Timothy McDuffie missing. Fowler and McDuffie, who is visiting from Tennessee, were out fishing on a 14-foot boat. Both kids are on spring break.
More than 60 people are taking part in today's search, including dive teams and cadaver dogs. Search crews are also using side scan sonar equipment.
