The discovery has moved the search area westward. Capt. Paul Stewart with the Mobile County Sheriff's Flotilla says the bodies moved with the current. Capt. Stewart says a special sonar they brought in yesterday identified what they thought to be the bodies of three children. Divers couldn't get to the bodies because of strong currents. They believe those currents moved the bodies overnight.

Law enforcement hopes the discovery of the infant's body will help them locate the others. Capt. Stewart says members of the Sheriff's Flotilla is coping as well as possible and working as hard as they can to find the children. Bayou La Batre Police say the children's father admitted to throwing them off the bridge. Lam Luong is being held in Metro Jail. He is charged with 4 counts of capital murder. His lawyer says Luong told him he was forced to confessed and actually gave the children to a woman named Kim.
Sheriff Cochran says two chaplains are with the family. Another news conference is expected around 1 p.m. We will have the latest updates on News 5 and WKRG.com

I am following this story from Austin, TX as my “coastie” fiance is one of the volunteers looking for these children. It’s just so sad to hear of something like this happening. Look people, if you dont want your children - take them to the nearest fire station and drop them off there...this will give them a chance to have somewhat of a better life.....this guy is so sick...no words to describe this coward of a human being - there are no words to describe this “thing..” - my heart goes out to the family and close friends of this family and of course, the mother - God Bless her and comfort her. ....all this for what...crack pipe and a piece of ass from a crack whore who patiently waited at the nastyass motel...!???? was it worth it!!???
