A 16 year old boy has been arrested for making terroristic threats against his high school.Satsuma Police say the boy, whose name has not been released because he is a minor, attends Satsuma High School.
Police along with the Mobile County DA's Office and school officials began an investigation after they received a tip on October 10th. The student was arrested two days later.
According to Satsuma Police Chief David Benefield, a search warrant was executed at the students home, where they found several items of interest including computers. The Chief also says they are on top of the situation and that the student could be facing more charges.
Mobile County School System says they do everything they can to keep students safe. "Students and teachers can feel as safe in school as they can anywhere else" says Mobile County School System spokesperson Nancy Pierce.
