A Saraland teen is in jail this morning, charged with trying to rob a convenience store. Police say the 17 year old walked into a Circle K store on Forest Avenue and physically assaulted the clerk. He demanded money and left. Sarland police and K-9 tracking dogs from Atmore were called in to search for the suspect. They found him in a wooded area off Celeste Road.
The teen is charged with first degree robbery. A second suspect, 28 year old Jeanne Nicholas was also arrested. She is charged with first degree robbery. Both suspects are in Mobile Metro Jail.
