Court records show the 29-year-old Birmingham native and 2003
American Idol winner and 30-year-old Surata Zuri McCants got a
marriage license just before noon Monday in Shelby County.
Studdard has previously been mum about a possible wedding date.
Alabama marriage licenses are valid for 30 days.

This sure is a hot story, but I am really having a hard time caring about this news. If his new bride disappears after the honeymoon then we would have some news. We would also need to send out a search party to explore his belly button.
