Mobile Sheriff's investigators say they have a suspect in custody in connection with the attempted robbery of a south Mobile County gas station.
Around 4:30am this morning, a man entered the Shell Station on Theodore-Dawes Road, told the clerk he had a gun, and demanded money.
The clerk didn't believe him.
The robber left the scene in a Chevy Trailblazer, which was spotted by Sheriff's Deputies at Theodore-Dawes and Old Pascagoula Roads.
That's where 19-year old Zachary Justin Berman was taken into custody.
Berman was taken to Mobile Metro Jail and charged with attempted robbery.
Investigators say Berman is also a suspect in an earlier robbery at the Shell Convenience Store on Highway 90 and Hamilton Boulevard.
Mobile Police are investigating that case and have charged Berman with 1st Degree Robbery.

YOU NEVER KNOW THE HURT UNTIL IT IS YOUR KID.
