Mobile Police have arrested Robert McDaniel in connection with a robbery of a Chevron Gas Station on Three Notch Road. The robbery happened back on February 18. McDaniel pointed a semi-automatic weapon at the cashier and demanded money. He was able to get away. Four days later, McDaniel walked into the RBC Bank on Cottage Hill Road and handed a teller a message that said he was armed and wanted money. He was able to make it out of the bank as well.
McDaniel was arrested today by Mobile Robbery detectives thanks to tips from Prichard Police. Investigators say McDaniel is homeless, and was arrested at a gas station in Prichard near the intersection of Highway 45 and Interstate 65.
McDaniel is also suspected in the robbery of the Vision Bank on Highway 98 in Daphne.
