The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man who robbed the Tom Thumb convenience store on Florence Avenue in Fort Walton Beach.

Deputies say the man walked into the store around 1:40 Tuesday morning. He got two beers out of the cooler and set them on the counter along with a crumpled up lottery ticket.

Before the clerk knew what happen, the man was behind the counter demanding money. The robber managed to get the register open and grab some cash. He then grabbed the store's cell phone and ran out.

The suspect is described as a 25-35 year old, black male with a beard. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, a jersey around his neck and blue or black shorts.

If you recognize the man in these photos, please call the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office at 850.651.7400 or Emerald Coast Crime Stoppers at 850.863.TIPS.

What a surprise… Those involved. Big surprise here.
