Mobile County Sheriff Sam Cochran says, "We're very relieved and glad that the positive identity has been made. We truly suspected that it would be Hannah and we were wishing that it would knowing that her body is missing out there. We're happy in that respect, but its hard to be happy over something like this."
Captain Paul Stewart with the Mobile County Sheriff's Flotilla says, "I know there will be closure for the family because they're all back together. They're all home again."
Earlier in the day, the flotilla received some welcome news.
The E.E. Delaney Foundation presented a check for $35,000 to the flotilla to buy a new search and rescue airboat.
The foundation is set up to help charities in the community.
Foundation Vice-President Scott Delaney said, "It was something that motivated us to see all these folks really working hard completely on their own, volunteering their time and then seeing that not all their needs are met as far as equipment and funds."
The flotilla is a volunteer organization and Sheriff Cochran says the group depends on donations.
Cochran also announced that the flotilla received two other donations: a check for $5000 from Laura Adams and a check for $500 from the Atchison firm.
