Citronelle Police arrested an Eight Mile teenager for the deaths of two people killed in an accident. Officer James with the Citronelle Police Department says on the night of June Sixteenth, 16 year-old Alexandria Martin was racing along Prine Road in Citronelle in a Chevrolet Cavalier. At the time of the accident police believe she was driving over 100mph when she lost control of the vehicle rolling it multiple times. Officer James says, 9 year-old Devon Neel and, 20 year-old Latasha Hudson were ejected from the vehicle along with another passenger Crystal Boyington. Devon and Latasha were both killed, pronounced dead at the scene. The four other people in the vehicle; Devon's brother, 10 year-old David Neel; 15 year-old Crystal Boyington; 17 year-old Tobias Hudson; and Martin, were all treated at USA Medical Center.

Martin was booked into Mobile Metro Jail Wednesday night and is being charged with two counts of vehicular homicide.  According to Officer James a gray Mustang was racing with Martin but the driver of that vehicle will not be charged with a crime.

Yes, that was my daughter that wrote that and I didn’t know for sure what she was going to write, but she as well as the rest of us are so angry. I did however make it plain and clear that thouhgts of threat or printing it is not exceptable.
She is mature for her because she has dealt with the justice system and it wasn’t for truancy either. I’m not bragging, but they were felony charges. Children-her and friends-being stupid. As I stated before, my kids know that if they get into trouble, I support them in completeing their punishment, but make sure they took resposiblity. That is probably why she feels this girl is no different then anyone else.

You know something, I’m not sure exactly what happened but there is no way this girl was going 60mph or less. I live in Citronelle, and drive down Prine Road at least twice a week, I’m guilty of taking the curves at 50-60 mph myself, and in that car if she’d been going that fast, there is no way anyone would’ve been hurt. Given her prior record, and the witnesses in the car, this girl was going in excess of 100mph, and I certainly hope the judge sees right through her defense.

devon’s aunt , was that your daughter that posted online using your screen name last night. she sounded pretty mature, but i would tell her to be careful with some of the comments, i have never seen so many people looking for an excuse to declare this girls innocence, before a trial. some are not like me they just want to know what really happened.

The funeral was paid for by either the state or the church of Tasha’s parents. My sister just told me that Tasha was cremated too because her family couldn’t afford the whole $4,000-6,000 it cost for the whole kit and kaboodle. The same with my sister with the exception that she wasn’t from Alabama, but Florida and no one would pay to ship his body or for a burial plot. She felt this was the only option at the time.
