Prostitutes are known as "Ladies of the Night" because that's when they normally walk the street looking for desperate Johns, willing to pay money for sex. But the Mobile County Sheriff's Office busted several "Ladies of the Morning."
The Sheriff's Office narcotics unit conducted an undercover sting on Old Pascagoula Road in Theodore after residents said they're tired of looking at all the prostitutes prowling their neighborhood. The sting started at 7:30 this morning. Within several hours, they arrested 5 women for solicitation of prostitution. Three of the 5 were also arrested on drug charges.

Arrested:

Savanah Bentley, 19-years-old
Solicitation of Prostitution, Disorderly Conduct

Melody Cleburn, 19-years-old
Solicitation of Prostitution, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Obstructing Justice

Nichole McLaney, 26-years-old
Solicitation of Prostitution, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Kristen Palmer, 27-years-old
Solicitation of Prostitution.

Brenda Smith, 39-years-old
Solicitation of Prostitution, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

“Due to continued citizen complaints, we have made it a priority to target the problem areas of prostitution,” said Sheriff Sam Cochran. “This is part of an ongoing initiative to deter and prevent criminal acts associated with drugs and prostitution.”

this is directed to wlb-----obviously you have never had the pleasure of living or working next to whore houses. Well I have and altho its too late for me,, thanks to Sheriff Sam and his men for the help I worked at the BP for about a year last year and its always been an out of control problem, Johns,Tricks and Pimps ALWAYS coming and going from opening to closing at night. not the safest feeling in the world either. Not alot of Police help cause of the lag time between calls to the dispatcher. Shoplifting at the business in the area is skyhigh. And you know the funny thing is that its sad when you know four out of five of the girls and you see them so much that you know them by name. Now aint that a kick in the ....... anyway thanks to the sheriff and hope that his dept will Keep on TOP of this growing problem for the Theodore area

i know no one wonts this in there naborhood...but is it not better than rape..the job is over 2000 years old. walk in her shoes
