The Citronelle Police Department says someone cut out a man's tongue and gouged his eyes during an attack this morning on Dogwood Drive.
Around 5 a.m., police received a 911 call about an assault at 10610 Dogwood Drive. When they arrived, officers found a bloody 42 year-old Michael Crocker. His tongue had been cut out and his eyes gouged.
It happened near the same location where a man was killed last week. Only News 5 was there Friday when police found Stephen Perret's bullet roddled body inside a car on Dogwood. Crocker is Perrett's boss.
Mobile County Sheriff Sam Cochran says “This appears to be an isolated series of events and not a random act of violence. Our investigators are working diligently to ensure that this case is solved.”
Detectives have identified a possible person of interest in the Perret murder. If you have any information about either case, please call Citronelle Police or the Mobile County Sheriff's Office.

You are probably right. This thing has been to long in the making.....but hopefully soon....we will know what we want to hear....I am also taking into consideration the hurt that this has cause all.......including me......I hope that justice is served the RIGHT WAY!!!

as far as the police they have and are doing a great job i know first hand i am a crime victim they had the scumbag within hours fo the crime

Nobody deserves this kind of brutality! To lose someone you love and to have someone tortured and scarred for life is to horrible to imagine. The person/persons that committed these acts are not human. They are animals and should be treated as such.

I live in citronelle it’s a good town, but you’re going to have bad people. It is ignorant to say that the police know who did these crimes but will not prosecute. Our policeman are underpaid and mistreated and we should thankful for our policeman instead of downing them. If anyone thinks that they can do a better job than our policeman, be my guest. Another problem is the people who want to complain about the crime in their area but won’t help out. What we need to do is get our council together and INCREASE the salaries of these overworked and underpaid policeman.

THE PROBLEM WITH MOST COMMUNITIES IS THAT THEY EXPECT THE POLICE/NARCOTICS UNIT TO CLEAN UP THEIR AREA, BUT THE PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY DO NOT WANT TO HAVE INVOLVEMENT!!!! cONTACT THE POLICE AND TELL THEM WHO YOU ARE AND WHERE YOU LIVE AND HAVE YOUR NEIGHBORS DO THE SAME THING. NEIGHBORHOODS WHO LET DRUGGIES AND
THE LIKE INTO THEIR AREAS WITHOUT RASING CANE, CANNOT BLAME THE POLICE. SOMEONE ELSE CANNOT FIX ALL THE PROBLEMS. sTEP UP AND DO YOUR PART !!!

I live in Citronelle not far from where the murder on Stephen Perret, and the brutal attack occured on Michael Crocker happened.
I can believe this has happened in our small town.
It has changed so much.
It use to be a quiet place to live, but drugs have taken over.
Our policemen know who the dealers are, but do nothing.
If Mobile County or the State Troopers are not involved no one ever goes punished.
I am sure the City police know who did these horrible crimes, but left up to them to punish. Nothing will ever happen.
I feel very sorry for the 2 family’s that lost their love ones.
