After a week following various leads, a Mobile robbery detective arrested a 17-year-old gunman who had been preying on pedestrians in the midtown area.
Mobile police Det. Anthony Sanchez arrested and jailed Keontal Brown Friday afternoon on two counts of Robbery First Degree and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. The investigation is ongoing and an accomplice is expected to be charged for the same crimes.
The crimes occurred January 10 starting around 7:30 p.m. In the first case, a juvenile was walking in the area of Old Shell and Tuscaloosa Roads when two black males approached him in dark clothes and hoodies, armed with a black handgun, and demanded money from him.
The second incident occurred moments later when the same two individuals approached a man walking in the area of Old Shell and Upham Roads and demanded a wallet, car keys and a cell phone.
Following various leads, Mobile police were able to identify the gunman and are charging Brown as an adult for his part in the crimes.

ANYONE WHO CAN STICK A GUN IN YOUR FACE AND ROB YOU, IS INDEED AN ADULT AND SHOULD BE CHARGED AS SUCH.

with a sweet round face like he has, the predators in prison will descend on him like a pack of wolves.  he will regret the day he pulled a gun on a honest person.
