Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Investigators are looking into the armed robbery of the United Bank at the corner of Diamond Street and Highway 90 in Pace. It happened on Friday. Deputies were called just before 11:00 a.m. to find that three men entered the bank, armed with semi-automatic handguns, and demanded money from the bank tellers. Once they got the cash, they left the bank in a stolen SUV. Deputies recovered the SUV not far from the bank, but so far no arrests have been made. Deputies have released three photos in hopes of catching the criminals. The first picture shows a man police believe was inside the bank moments before the robbery happened. Investigators believe this man may be tied to the robbery in some way an they want to question him.
The second and third photos show the bank robbery suspects. Investigators believe the men may have been wearing wigs to disguise themselves.
