The University of South Alabama Student Government Association will pause to remember the victims of the September 11th attacks today. A bronze plaque will be placed inside a flag memorial at the USA Student Center on Campus. The dedication service will include the lowering of the U.S. flag to half-staff, the playing of "Taps" and a moment of silence for the nearly 3,000 people who died in the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. The 15 minute ceremony will begin at 10:45 this morning.
