Outside a fast food restaurant, deputies take down a suspect. According to undercover sheriffs investigators says Rodolofo Soriano is a pimp. He is one of nine arrests made in the Ensley community after deputies began hearing complaints while on patrol. "There was a prostitution problem in the area and it's more than just one or two," says spokesman Glenn Austin.
He says it didn't take long for an undercover officer to see what all the complaints were about. "He rides around, he slows down and he was approached on a number of occasions by men who offered women for sex and of course by women themselves."
In just a few hours almost a dozen prostitutes and pimps were off the street. Undercover officers called the sweep, 'Operation Ensley Hoedown.
"I don't know really what to say about hoedown." But Wilford Marshall has plenty to say about the hookers he sees moving into his neighborhood. "Loud cussing and talking they, yeah it's pretty rough up here."
Almost everyday you can find him just off Diamond Dairy road. Some of the arrests were made within blocks of where he tries to make a legitimate living.
"It's terrible up here," he says.
While folks here are happy somethings being done, they know it will take more than just one undercover operation to get the job done.
In all, seven women and two men face solicitation and drug charges after last nights undercover operation.

Wanted For Murder

That is a rough looking crowd! Not even a thong over the head would fix that problem!
