Florida Highway Patrol is investigating an accident that left a pedestrian injured. It happened Tuesday night just after 11:30pm on Nine Mile Road in Escambia County, just west of Waring Road. Officials say that 17 year old Clinton Hennis of Pensacola was walking west in the middle of Nine Mile Road when a truck driven by 20 year old Joseph Ferguson of Pensacola, also traveling west, hit him. Hennis was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital where he's listed in critical condition. Charges are pending.
