The Mobile Police Department will auction off 79 abandoned vehicles tomorrow.
The auction starts 9 a.m. at the MPD Impound Lot behind the horse barn at 1251 Virginia St. There is no guarantee of the condition of any of the vehicles. Only cash, debit cards, Visa or Mastercard will be accepted.
Anyone interested in attending the auction must pre-register at the Impound Lot. Pre-registration starts at 7:30 a.m. and will end at 9 a.m.
The Department auctions off unclaimed vehicles the second Tuesday of every month.

TOTALLY AGREE—-SMITH’S TOWING IS NOTHING BUT CROOKS

It is about time Mobile got smart and started auctioning off their own impounded vehicles. Another positive they did was rotation instead of letting Smith’s Towing get all the money.
