Traffic crash involving tractor trailer has closed a part of State Road 285 near Niceville, FL until further notice. Okaloosa Roadway Closed

Florida Highway Patrol has closed State Road 285 between College Blvd in Niceville and I-10 due to a fatal traffic crash. Officials say a tractor trailer and another vehicle were involved and at least one person was killed. It happened about 5:30am Thursday morning near the 8 mile marker. Officials say diesel fuel was spilled as a result of the accident. It's unknown what time the road will reopen.
