LAS VEGAS (AP) - The lawyer for one of O.J. Simpson's
co-defendants says his client "wishes he would have never met
O.J."
Charles Cashmore has told a Las Vegas judge he'll plead guilty
and testify against Simpson and four others in the alleged casino
hotel room robbery of sports memorabilia dealers. Cashmore says he
thinks he has done the right thing.
His attorney says Cashmore can establish who was in the room,
what was said and who had guns. Simpson and his lawyers have denied
guns were present.
The lawyer says Cashmore was introduced to Simpson and most of
the others in the group for the first time minutes before the
alleged robbery. He says Cashmore didn't know what was going on,
and he didn't have a gun.
