If everyone started to switch to other fuel sources I promise the price of gas would start going down because the oil companies would see the profits drop

Gas prices are like home insurance.  They keep rising and I don’t know how we are suppose to get to work with the gas prices rising - our paycheck isn’t increasing. It is not that we drive away for the fun of it. Diesel is suppose to be cheap. It is higher than gasoline. What gives with that? My husband has to have a big enough truck to pull his equipment and the diesel is eating up his profit. We can’t sit at home, that won’t get the bills paid, but we are not getting ahead either because of the gas prices and home insurance are climbing.  Someone help all of us!!
