For the viewers who watch the Arkansas vs Kentucky contest earlier Saturday on News 5, CBS inexplicably cut away from the telecast with under a minute to go... with the score Kentucky 57, Arkansas 55. The network stated there was a "switching error" made that caused the broadcast to go to black twice, then switch over to the Duke vs St. John's game. For the error, News 5 issues an apology to viewers who missed the end of the game. This error affected the Southeastern United States of the CBS viewing area and was a mistake on the national level, not local. Once again, News 5 apologizes for the error. By the way, Kentucky won over Arkansas, 63-58.
