They were called to 6th Avenue around 7:30 Sunday night where they found a van crashed into a utility pole.
A man was dead inside.
Police roped off the area with crime tape while investigators searched for clues to the man's death.
At least one woman, who apparently knew the victim, broke down when she saw the van.
Officers on the scene declined to say how the man died, or if they have any suspects in mind.
We expect to find out more about the investigation Monday.
