One person injured in Thursday night accident. Mobile Officer Injured in Wreck

Mobile Police are investigating what happened to one of their own in a wreck. It happened around 9pm Thursday night on Panorama Boulevard off University Boulevard. The officer's cruiser was the only vehicle involved. The cause is under investigation. Police officials did tell News 5 that the officer was conscious as he was transported to Springhill Memorial Hospital.
