Just before Noon on Sunday, a deputy tried to make a traffic stop near Sperry Road and Old Pascagoula Road in Tillmans Corner. But the driver hit the gas.
During the chase, the deputy says the driver and passenger threw items out the window. The chase came to a crashing halt when the driver crashed into a ditch on Franklin Creek Road, across the state line in Moss Point, Mississippi.
The driver, 41-year-old Henry Bush, got out a ran, but the deputy managed to run him down. Bush is charged with reckless endangerment, attempting to elude, possession of a pistol without a permit, possession of a controlled substance, manufacture of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.

The passenger, 39-year-old Juan Vincent, also ran into nearby woods. A member of the Sheriff's K-9 unit tracked him down. Vincent is charged with possession of a pistol without a permit, possession of a controlled substance, manufacture of a controlled substance and resisting arrest.

The deputy searched the wreck car and found the components of a rolling meth lab, a pistol, Lortab pills and methamphetamine.

Mobile Police Jurisdiction To Expand?

I want to say thanks again to our law enforcement officers. A job well done. They don’t get enough praise for all they do and the dangers they face. Now I hope the courts will do their job and keep these crooks off the streets. These guys be able to be rehabiliated. About ten years on a prison farm working about 8 hours a day in the fields may help these guys get the point.
