Mississippi could play a key role in deciding who gets the Democratic presidential nomination. 33 delegates are up for grabs in the state's primary Tuesday. With the race between Senators Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton still neck and neck, votes in Mississippi are more important than ever. One Springhill College professor we talked to says usually there's a front runner by the time Mississippi's primary rolls around. Not this time, and that makes this Mississippi's most important primary in decades, "here the outcome is in doubt, the outcome is close, so it does make a, definitely makes a difference how people vote. It's not just the symbolic act or something. It can help to determine what happens at the national level," said political science professor, Dr. Alex Landi. Professor Landi says every delegate is important because the race between Obama and Clinton is so close.
