Mississippi flag to be lowered to half-staff in honor of Jack
Lucas, who died Thursday in Hattiesburg at the age of 80.
Lucas, at 17, was the youngest U.S. Marine to be awarded the
military's highest award.
The flag will fly at half-staff from sunrise to sunset Monday -
the day he will be buried.
Moore Funeral Services said Friday that Lucas' funeral will not
be held at the University of Southern Mississippi, as had been
announced earlier. The funeral home said a new site will be
announced once arrangements are made.
