Searchers will be back out Tuesday morning looking for two missing teens. The Mobile County Sheriff's Office believes 17-year-old Stephen Fowler and his 16-year-old cousin, Timothy McDuffie, drowned in Big Creek Lake. We're told the two teens were fishing on a 14-foot boat and were not wearing life jackets. Searchers looked by boat, helicopter and on foot Monday. Family members watched and waited at the boat ramp area. They're still holding out hope their boys will be found alive. A sheriff's office chaplain spoke on their behalf," they're very hopeful. They have faith that the boys are going to be found and all afternoon they have just basically stood out here, they've prayed together as a family, they have stayed together as a family, and just believe that and had hope that, you know, that they will be found," said Mobile County Sheriff's Office Reserve Chaplain, Joey Turman. The Mobile County Sheriff's Office Flotilla, the Coast Guard, Alabama Marine Police and State Troopers will be back out Tuesday morning searching Big Creek Lake for the missing teens.

WHY WERE THEY NOT WEARING LIFE JACKETS?!?!?!? I hope the parents (and/or the owner of the boat) that allowed these CHILDREN to go out on a boat without life jackets is held LEGALLY responsible, because I definately hold them MORALLY responsible!

May God bless all of you, you are all in our prayers.  May He give you strength to carry through, comfort to know that He is with you, and peace in knowing that by faith He brings hope.
I did not know the kids personally but do know the family from church.  Peace, Hope, Faith and Love are His gift to us in trials and times as these.

One of you folks could have told Janet that the boys were on spring break, there was no need to jump on her as you did. This is a public forum, so expect questions and comments. Sorry for your losses but, the story above does not mention anything about spring break. There was nothing rude about her question, maybe inappropriate but not rude.

I apologize. Please don’t direct anymore comments to me.

Janet, i agree with Timmy’s cousin. get your story straight. He attends NGA school,in Lincoln County, Tennessee, and we are on Spring Break. you need to listen to the story it told you that.
McDuffie(as we call timothy) is a very close friend of mine. It is hard to believe what has happened. The last conversation we had was a little argument. it was kind of playing around but not really.lol. He was mad because i did not speak to him and Wal Mart. yeah sounds funny. I rememeber the last time i saw him it was at Lunch and he was sitting in front of me. we didnt talk much. besides the arguing. I didnt know his cousin but, i am sure he was a nice guy if he was McDuffie’s cousin.  Everyone please pray for The Two tennage boys and their family. McDuffie was nothing but nice to everyone in our school and town. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE pray. thats all we can do. thanks,
Kirbie Simms.
Timothy McDuffies friend.

Janet if you would listen, the young man, whom is my cousin, is on spring break. Please start thinking before you decide to type on your computer with such a rude comment as you have posted here…

Tammy, Kenneth, Kristen, Aunt Shirley, Wade, Clint, all you guys, i am praying for you and Love you dearly…I cant express how i felt when mother told me the news today, i cried and cried…I started to come see you but i figured with me being upset as i am, i would make things worse. I am off work Thursday and will come see you then, if not before. Tammy you and Kenneth know that EVERYTHING is in God’s hands and He Loves you dearly. Just trust and put all your faith in Him…I Love you guys with all my heart…
